THE KINGDOM FRAGMENTS FROM WITHIN Short Story by  Franklin Campusano      Daniel is an anxious man. He's conscious about it. For many years his struggle has been socializing with others. School life was particularly tough for him. Now in his adult years were interacting with others can determine the difference on whether you eat or not, he has had to force himself out of his comfort zone in order to make end's meat.      Every afternoon at about 6:30pm, Daniel arrives home from his office job in the Quincy District courthouse straight to his room. He doesn't greet anyone in his household, his middle-aged mother Heather, nor his little brother Caleb. It's nothing personal, work is just too much for him. THE WATCHER Short Story by Franklin Campusano      When Jarold Burns suddenly wakes up in the middle of a windy night, he cannot help but to shake this instinctive feeling off of him. Sleeping in a cabin in the middle of nowhere is certainly not unusual for him.      What is unusual for him though is the instinctive feeling of being observed, observed by someone or something that he himself can't see. Of course, though, nighttime paranoia is a common thing that can happen to anyone, even the most veteran of the bunch, so Jarold decides to ignore this feeling and attempts to sleep again.      Keeping his eyes shut as the minutes go by proves to be quite a challenge to Jarold, I mean, he's a heavy sleeper after all, so, what could have possibly wake him off like this?      So Jarold shakes the blankets off of him and gets up from bed. THE MISGUIDED SENSES  Short story by Franklin Campusano   _______________________________________________________     Everybody hates Mondays, don't they? This particular Monday was a particularly bad Monday. Specially for Larson Silas, a veteran building inspector. It turns out that waking up at 4am did little for him this day. The morning rush hour is currently at its peak. All the seasoned workers are currently trying to get to New York from the upper state causing a traffic jam that's almost unbearable.      The amount of frustration that Silas is experiencing can be compared to a pressure pot filled with boiling water. Mr. Silas is a well-known perfectionist. He would do anything in his reach to make sure that all his plans go according to his calculations.
