ABSTRACT

Franklin's Character Archetype Theorem is a narrative tool that is meant to be used to craft complex fictional characters. Furthermore, it can also be used as a tool to determine one's own personality and to a extent, that of others. In essence, Franklin's Character Archetype Theorem can serve as a personality test, a framework that is meant to craft dynamic characters and their evolution throughout a narrative or story, as well as their relations with other characters, but it is so effective as a tool, that it can be used to also determine the personalities of one self and that of others.

INTRODUCTION

Humankind is the most diverse species on Earth, from our backgrounds to our personalities and more, no human being is the exact same. Throughout time many brilliant people who dedicated their lives, time and resources to studying set beings (us), have developed many theories and frameworks that would serve as a means to categorize our personalities and traits into very specific groups and denominations.

Franklin's Character Archetype Theorem in its very essence does not aim to either classify as those personality test frameworks nor it aims to replace them either. Franklin's Character Archetype Theorem is an allegory, an abstract tool that will help writers craft compelling characters and stories, a tool so effective that in theory, it could also be used to examine one's own personality and even that of others, depending on how well we know set other.

Before continuing on to the main article, a few things are to be kept in mind, first of all, what is a theorem? What is it for? Furthermore, what exactly is an archetype? And how does that apply to us and how could it be used in order to craft characters?

A Theorem can be defined as a statement or proposition that has been proven to be true based on previously established statements [...] Many of you might relate to the commonly known: "Pythagoras Theorem" which is a well known theorem that establishes a relationship between the sides of a right-angled triangle.

An Archetype can be defined as an universal symbol, character, theme, or concept that recurs across cultures and time periods in literature, art, myths, and storytelling. Archetypes represent fundamental human experiences and serve as models for characters or situations in narratives. Character archetypes are ways to define characters, for example, in many known wors of fiction, Winnie The Pooh as an example, these common character archetypes are present. For example, the happy and jolly character like Tiger and Pooh and the sad and depressed character like the donkey character. Some also have the angry character and the haughty character and more.

METHODOLOGY

This Theorem or tool, heavily uses the universe as a symbolism, in a matter of fact, it relies on it in order to transmit it's main arguments and principles. But the Universe as a whole is a very broad concept, a concept that embodies many different things, so what exact aspect of our known universe will be heavily relied upon in order to successfully explain the upcoming concepts? There are three aspects about our known universe in specific that will be relied upon in the contest of this article. These are: 1) The universe's light; 2) It's objects; 3) It's movement. Please don't be overwhelmed by this, as you progress through this article, you will fully understand what these mean and you will also be able to make complete sense of it as well.

Something else to keep in mind is that my theorem uses the above mentioned aspects of the universe and uses them as parallel to us humans to be more specific. 1) The Universe's light is used as a parallel to the light that originates from God. I know many of you are not inherently religious but do not be concerned by this, all of this is a mere symbolism, since God is a symbol of pureness and complete goodness to many, I believe this will make a great parallel; 2) The universe's objects are going to be used to define the different archetypes that will be used to define the characters or humans and; 3) The universe's movement will be used to define a character's rate of change throughout their narrative. Once again, don't feel overwhelmed by this, as you read through this article, all of this will make a lot of sense, within the context of this article of-course.

THE MAIN PRINCIPLES

There are a total of six main principles that govern this theorem, those being:

Principle Number 1: The universe as a whole which includes all of it's objects, it's inherently dark. The universe is engulfed by darkness which interact with the many sources of light. Just like the universe as a whole is inherently dark, the first principle indicates that all humans, with no exceptions at all are inherently evil. This fact ranges from those among us who are old in years, to the youngest infants, even those who are now deep within their mother's wombs, although innocent and naive by default, deep down all of us as in humankind are inherently evil.

Principle Number 2: Light is what enables us humans to perceive everything else visually. Without light we would not be able to walk on a straight path and without light, we would not be able to perceive the universe and it's expanse. Pretty much everything we know of the cosmos is because of the light that has been travelling millions of years. Light is essential to us humans because we are creatures that rely on our eyes as much as other species on this planet rely on their sense of smell in order to perceive their surroundings. Because of this, principle number two states that light which is the opposite of darkness, specifically, the light that comes from God is a symbol of goodness and pureness and cleanness.

Principle Number 3: The universe as a whole is a host to billions and upon billions of objects. Among these objects we can observe planets, stars, moons, black holes and more. These objects are defined in different ways, one of them being on how these objects interact with light. Hence, just like everything in this universe can be identified and defined by how they interact with light, all people on earth, although inherently evil, can be defined by how they interact to the light that comes from God.

Principle Number 4: No object in the known universe is able to expel light, every object in the universe reacts to light in one way or another. Likewise, based on this fact, principle number four states that no human being on earth can repel God's lights nor can either escape it. All human beings will react to the light that comes from God in different ways, but none can ever escape or repel it.

Principle Number 5: The farther away an object is from another makes it harder for an observer who is in a determined place in the universe to determine the current state of another object that is very far away. We humans are able to perceive far away objects in the universe due to the light that has traveled for many and many millions of years and as a result, these objects are only observable to us in their past states. The closer an object is to an observer though the easier it is for that observer to determine the other object's current state. For example, we are able to perceive the sun as it was about 8 minutes ago. That is because the light from the sun takes 8 minutes to travel from the Sun towards Earth. Likewise, principle number five states that the more emotionally apart a person is from another, the harder it is for that person to perceive the other person's current emotional and mental stat. The closer a person is to another emotionally, the more they will be able to perceive how that person has changed.

Principle Number 6: Nothing in this universe is statical, everything in this universe is under a constant state of change and movement. Likewise, every human, although inherently evil is still subjected to constant change and a person may shift from one archetype to another, regardless of the constant change though, principle number one still remains truth regardless of all the change a person experiences.

THE PRINCIPAL ARCHETYPES

There is a total of three main archetypes proposed in this theorem:

The Reflective Archetype

A reflective object is one in which upon making contact with light, light bounces away. This phenomenon is what enables things to be seen and perceived through the eyes. The act of bouncing away from set object also creates the illusion of colors and shadows. Likewise, a Reflective person in this context is one whom upon making contact with God's light (which symbolizes goodness), set light bounces away or is deflected from them. This creates the illusion of goodness while hiding or concealing the person's dark side. Reflectors are individuals who always show the best aspects of themselves to others while at the same time hiding their less appealing aspects from the rest. Because of this, reflectors are people that shine because of their good qualities among others. These individuals are known for the good they do and say. Reflectors are people who also know very well how to act and behave and how to carry themselves in social situations, as a result they tend to have many connections and a large support group, they also tend to be very popular as a result of this and are known to have many friends and an active and productive social life, as well as enjoying many social advantages as a result of their vast connections.

Regardless of this, although Reflectors are individuals that often shine because of their good qualities and are known for them and are often held in high esteem by others, often enjoying of great reputations among their peers, their inner darkness always accompanies them everywhere they go, just like a shadow would follow its caster. Although Reflectors are individuals that have mastered the art of keeping appearances while keeping their less desired traits and even evil traits hidden away, these might sometimes leak out of them. And when their less appealing or evil traits are exposed to or by others, those within the Reflective archetype may react in adverse ways and even engage in some form of aggression, whether passive or active.

Because Reflectors are masters of keeping appearances and to them, showing the best side of themselves is second nature, Reflectors are individuals that pay very close attention and deeply care about what others say about them. Reflectors are deeply concerned about how others perceive them and always want to make sure others see them the way they are trying to be seen. Furthermore, Reflectors are individuals that are very inclined towards self improvement and are always putting strong effort on dwarfing or even eliminating their bad traits altogether while replacing them with good and more desirable traits.

Because of their ability to reflect God's light, Reflectors come in many shapes and colors and forms and within this context, they are the most common and the most diverse archetype of the three. Because Reflectors know very well how to behave, act and what to say around others, they are the ones who often become influential among others, often obtaining positions of power and fame, this is because in order to exert fame and power, it is important to show the best aspects of oneself and conceal one's own flaws.

Some reflectors in fact can reflect so much of God's light, that they may even be viewed as angels or saints among men, and these people are often looked up upon, but in reality, within confined spaces and when away from the public's eyes, these people are really demons among men. Regardless of how much they shine though, all Reflectors cast a shadow that is as dark as their light is bright and their flaws and evil traits will always follow them the same way a shadow follows it's caster everywhere. A reflective person is one who denies their inner darkness and are always trying to eliminate it or hide it.

Reflectors are incredibly inteligent and cunning, they often know what to do, what to say and how to behave in many situations. They put a lot of effort into themselves and their image as people, always trying to be the best version of themselves. Reflectors are indeed aware of their inner darkness and of their character flaws, but they always try to hide or conceal these from the rest, often allowing their least desirable and evil traits to come out during safe or private spaces, only those within their most intimate circle are able to see and experience these less desirable aspects of them.

Just like the other two main archetypes, all Reflectors are inherently evil, this though like the other two archetypes, doesn't mean that all Reflectors are villains, this is quite the contrary. Since most people in the world are indeed Reflectors, most Reflectors are normal everyday people that live normal lives. In the case though that a Reflector is in fact a villain, Reflectors make the most dangerous kind of villains.

In the case of Reflectors, they often are the manipulative kind of villains, these villains show themselves as good hearted and kind people to the rest of the people, but in the shadows, these are often the types to pull the strings. Reflectors that are villainous use their vast intelligence and cunningness to make sure they get away with their villainous acts. Since Reflectors often can easily get positions of influence and fame, this can make a powerful combination for a villain and makes Reflectors something to be reckon with, in the case of those who are indeed villainous.

Because Reflectors also have vast social intelligence, they also tend to know very well how to manipulate others by means of their words and actions. Reflectors are individuals that as a result of their evil traits and inner darkness and character flaws, they possess many secrets and much that is to be known about them, is typically confidential. One of the biggest fears for a Reflector is to be exposed, as a result of this, they will go to great lengths to make sure that their least desired aspects of themselves are never publicly known.

One final thing about this archetype to keep in mind is that Reflectors do best and are often the happiest when they feel that everything is under their control, they don't necessarily do this because they crave and have thirst for power, but it is because they like order and feel safe whenever they are in control of a situation. Something else to keep in mind is that Reflectors do not like being called Reflectors because being labelled as one is a way of exposing them which is a big no-no to them, so please be careful and mindful when using this specific term.

The Non-Reflective Archetype

A non-reflective object is one that instead of deflecting light or having it bounce away, it actually absorbs light. Because of this, these type of objects in the context of the universe are either hard to observe or outright impossible to be observed, and can only be identified because of the effect these objects have around others. Likewise, a Non-Reflective individual or a Non-Reflector is a person that instead of projecting God's light and shining for their good qualities while hiding their less desirables traits like Reflectors do, a Non-Reflector is someone that cannot or does not hide their inner darkness.  Non-reflective people are ones who are known for their flaws or less desirable traits and they are the ones who also engage in bad doing openly. Non-reflective ones are known as people that are driven by their inner instincts and often can't help themselves when engaging in bad doing. They are often not ashamed about their evil or less desirable traits in the case of those who choose not to hide them. In the case of those who outright can't conceal their bad traits and are controlled by them, they are known as extremely flawed individuals by their peers.

Because a good portion of Non-reflectors openly engage in wrongdoing, people within the non-reflective archetype are regarded as the scum of the world, the evil ones, and the criminals. In oddly similar manner to Reflectors, Non-Reflective individuals may sometimes display good traits, indicating that they do also have God's light, is just that similar to how Reflective ones conceal their darkness by reflecting more and more of God's light, Non-Reflectors out shadow God's light by often engaging in wrongdoing or by being controlled by their bad traits. Because of this, the good in them may sometimes leak out of them in a manner similar to Reflectors. Non-Reflective people are individuals that instead of hiding or concealing or denying their inner darkness, they outright embrace it and are known for it.

Being a Non-Reflective is not equal to being a criminal. All archetypes can engage in bad doing, just that depending the archetype, they will do it in different ways. A Non-Reflective individual may be someone who is seriously mentally ill and as a result of it he or she may not know how to act, and manage themselves in social situations, as a result of this, they might be known by their peers for being a mentally ill person. This is not saying that all mentally ill individuals are Non-Reflective, in the contrary, many individuals that are mentally ill do fall in the Reflective archetype because they are able successfully hide or conceal the bad traits and behaviors that come as a result of being mentally ill. The key difference here is that a Reflective individual is a master of keeping appearances while a Non-Reflective person can either not help themselves or outright choose not to hide their undesirable traits and behaviors.

A Reflective individual may also engage in serious bad doing, except that they successfully keep this fact concealed and are not known by others for it. They may do bad things while at the same time keeping the appearance of being an exemplar person. A Non-Reflective person engages in bad doing openly and everyone knows them for it. That's the key difference between a Reflective and a Non-Reflective. Non-Reflective people can also enjoy a good reputation among their peers, but in the case they don't, Non-Reflective individuals may not show much concern about it or outright simply accept it.

Non-Reflective individuals also enjoy of productive social lives, the only difference being that their social circles may be a lot more limited in comparison to that of a Reflective person, and their social circles may mostly be composed of other Non-Reflective people. As a result of this, Non-Reflective individuals do not enjoy the same social privileges and advantages as Reflectors do, for the most part.

Non-Reflective individuals are humble and sincere, they are very well aware of their character flaws and embrace them. Even in the case they do bad things, they might be upfront and direct about it. Still, in cases Non-Reflective people may also be very volatile and unpredictable, this is due to them either not being able to help themselves or straight up choosing not to control themselves.

Non-Reflective people openly admit to being Non-Reflective, and simply say they can't either help themselves or straight up not really care much about it. Just like the other two archetypes, Non-Reflective people are not all villains, it is quite the contrary, but in the case a Non-Reflective individual either is portrayed or becomes a villain, Non-Reflective villains make the most generic types of villains.

These are the villains that are bad just for the sake of being bad, or are either often driven by their instincts and desires which may go against the main character or main set of characters. Non-Reflective individuals don't really mind being called Non-Reflective, but don't go around labelling them as such, since that may be considered rude.

The Transparent Archetype

A transparent object is an object that instead of bouncing or deflecting light or absorbing it, it instead allows light to pass through it. Likewise, all those who fall under the transparent archetype are those that instead of deflecting and projecting God's light, or outright absorbing it into themselves, they allow God's light to pass through them. These individuals do not hide or attempt to conceal their inner darkness, and they also do not engage on it either, but they outright accept it and are open about it. Transparent ones are known for their honesty and for being down to earth because of this, in a way, it is like you can see right through them. They are not concerned about what others think of them and because of this, they always show their real-selves. They are open about their flaws and are also able to reflect good qualities. Because of this, Transparent ones may be regarded as polarizing to others. Because they do not hide their evil traits and often show their true selves in social situations, Transparent ones do not have as many friends as Reflectors and they may not enjoy the same social advantages that Reflectors do. Is not that Transparents don't know how to manage themselves in social situations, is simply that they are not afraid to show their true selves and often say and do things that others don't like, despite it not being exactly wrong.

Because a Transparent individual is not concerned about showing the best side of themselves, many would simply treat them from a distance and regard them as polarizing individuals. Since they don't enjoy as many social advantages as Reflectors do, Transparent individuals don't obtain position of fame and power too often and in the case they do, they may not become too famous or too powerful and may even be regarded as controversial figures in the case they do become very famous and powerful. Transparent individuals have nothing or little to hide about themselves, because of this, they have freedom of speech in a lot of things. The Transparent archetype is also the less common of the three since the vast majority of people would fall under the Reflective archetype, which is the most diverse and most common archetype. A transparent individual is someone that instead of concealing their inner darkness or embracing it and engaging in it, they instead accept it.

Transparent individuals, as a result of accepting the inevitable fact that we are all inherently evil and hence not perfect, they are people that normally have a very balance view of themselves. Transparent people have a deep understanding of themselves and because they understand themselves very well, they can also easily understand others. They are often happy with who they are and are often satisfied with their lot in life, although this does not mean that they will not embark in any pursuits. Transparent people are often non-sensical and straightforward, they are not afraid of hiding the truth of a matter and can be very direct when communicating it. This could cause them problems.

Transparent people are very confident as a result of having deep understanding of themselves. They are non-sensical and straightforward. What they do and say does not usually have double or hidden meanings. They are not saints and do make mistakes, but interestingly, no one changes their point of view of them because of it. They don't worry about showing the best aspect of themselves to others, instead, they always show their true selves to others and many love them but most don't like them for it.

The Transparent archetype interestingly makes the sympathetic type villains whenever they become or are portrayed as villains. These are the villains the audience often are sympathetic towards. These villains often seem to have justifiable motives but are still villains because they still oppose the main characters. These are also the villains that do villainous things for goals things such as the greater good or the end justify the means.

Transparent individuals are not often concerned about what their archetype is unless it is by curiosity. If told that they are within the Transparent archetype it would normally serve as a compliment. Since they are well aware of their limitations, they are usually very calm in most situations since they do not need to feel in control.

These are the three main archetypes. Remember, no archetype is better than the other, all three main archetypes are all inherently evil and are governed by all of the six principles. The only thing that differs each of them is how they interact with God's light which in this case it is a symbol of goodness and cleanliness.

THE SUB ARCHETYPES

The sub archetypes are minor archetypes that are present in between the three main archetypes. As you will learn later in this article, a person is always being subjected to change, this means that a person may shift between one archetype to another throughout the course of their lives. This shift however is never immediate which means that there are points in a person's life in which they may lie between archetypes.

Something extremely important to keep in mind is that the Reflective Archetype and the Non-Reflective archetype are not the opposites of each other, instead, it is the Transparent archetype that is the outright opposite of the Reflective. This is because the Reflective Archetype is in denial of their inner darkness while the Transparent archetype are acceptive of it. As a result of this, there is no in between Reflective and Transparent archetype. In a very surprising twist in many of the reader's expectation, the Non-Reflective archetype is actually the neutral archetype of the tree and hence it lies between the Reflective and the Transparent and hence the two sub-archetypes are both bounded by the Non-Reflective archetype but in opposite sides of the diagram in relation to the other two opposing archetypes. In summary, the Non-Reflective archetype serves as the ground for the Reflective and the Transparent archetypes.

You can think of this as an upside down triangle with no base, only two angles meeting in one single point. The Reflective archetype can lie in the left edge of the triangle and the Transparent archetype is in the right edge of the triangle while the Non-Reflective can be in the bottom point of the triangle where both angles meet.

The Diffusive Sub-Archetype

This sub-archetype lies between the reflective and the non-reflective archetypes. This means that like the Reflective archetype, a person that falls under the Diffusive category is one who tries to conceal their darkness, but at the same time, like the non-reflective archetype, a Diffusive person can't conceal their darkness fully. This means that a Diffusive individual may reflect God's light like a Reflector does, but they cannot shine as bright as a pure Reflector would. In the case of a Diffusive individual, their darkness is just as prominent as their light or in some cases, even more prominent than their light. This means that like a Reflector, a Diffusive individual is able to keep appearances, and they know very well how to act, what to say and how to manage themselves in social situations, but in their case, others are still able to perceive their inner darkness weather consciously or subconsciously.

When a Diffusive person attempts to reflect God's light by displaying good qualities, it may at times feel forced, this is because of their inner darkness is not fully able to be concealed. In the case of a Diffusive individual, their attempts to conceal their inner darkness may appear to be more obvious and more clear than how an actual Reflector does it. You can think of this as, while it is second nature for a Reflector to conceal their inner darkness, and they often don't need to put conscious effort into doing it, for a Diffusive individual, concealing their inner darkness is not second nature. A Diffusive individual is more often than not consciously or actively hiding their inner darkness, and others might simply be able to pick up on it, mostly in a sub-conscious way. A Reflective person is someone who has mastered the art of keeping appearances and they can easily and consistently show the best aspects of themselves while being successful at keeping their least desirable traits in the back side of things. A Diffusive person is either struggling to conceal their inner darkness or is concealing his or her inner darkness but while putting tremendous effort, and because of the fact they are consciously concealing their inner darkness, others surrounding the diffusive individual may often pick up on it or not.

Diffusive individuals are more often than not very self aware, they are aware of their undesirable traits and as a result are always putting tremendous effort into concealing them. Whenever they feel they have not acted in the way they want to act or that they have said something that shines light into that undesirable trait, they are prone to give in to anxiety. Certain Diffusive individuals result to non-verbal communication management in order to not give away things about themselves to others that might be perceivable by means of body language. They might cover their eyes with sunglasses and hide their mouths with masks. They might cover their faces in order to not be recognized by others and might even hide their hands.

A Diffusive person is in what can be described as a tug of war with themselves and are always struggling to balance their darkness with their light. Since they are not fully Reflectors, they lack the control Reflectors often desire and need and as a result, Diffusive ones may result to manipulation and conditioning.

In essence, a Diffusive person is a Non-Reflective person trying to be a Reflective. They are very self aware individuals and they can also be Machiavellians and unscrupulous. They struggle to be seen as what they want to be seen as and as a result they can be very conflictive. They still possess certain traits Reflectors have such as their intelligence and their charisma but there is always a conflictive aura around them.

The Diffusive archetype makes the unstable and sometimes crazy type of villains. These villains can be very inteligent and charismatic but there is always a degree of craziness and lunacy to them. Because of this, they can be extremely unpredictable to the readers.

Diffusive individuals don't like being called Diffusive, they would prefer being viewed as Reflectors or Transparent. If you make your inferences about a person's archetype, it is best to keep it to yourself. Since some people may not like their particular archetype. Despite this, Diffusive individuals are not villains, they are common people like everyone else in the other archetypes.

The Matte-Translucent Sub-Archetype

This sub-archetype lies between the Non-Reflective archetype and the Transparent archetype. A matte-translucent object is one that allows light to pass through but the object might still have some impurities inside which can't make it fully transparent a Matte object is one that can let light pass through but it also absorbs a certain amount of light as well. Likewise, a Matte individual is one that is still transparent and open about his or her inner darkness, but they may still engage on it to a certain degree, not fully. They are transparent but not fully and some aspects of their inner darkness may still show, perhaps to a minor degree. Transparent people are not saints and just like the other two archetypes, they are also inherently evil, what differs a Transparent individual with a Matte is that a Transparent individual does not engage in doing bad things for the most part, a Matte individual still does engage in their inner darkness to a certain degree. Think of a transparent object as one in which you can fully see through, and a Matte object like one that is still transparent, but is still blurry to a certain degree, which makes it that you can see through it but since there is still aspects of Non-reflectiveness, the object is still not fully letting light pass through.

A Matte person is like an individual that is on the gray area of things and as a result, the Matte archetype makes the gray area kind of villains, the anti-heroes, they engage in the good and the bad. They might do bad things as much as they do good things, and we all know them for it. Light passes through them but not fully and as a result they are not seen as neither good nor bad.

Matte individuals tend to be very independent individuals as well as being emotionally balanced. Matte individuals are aware of their inner darkness the same way a Non-Reflective and a transparent individual would, and although they do embrace their darkness to an extent, they are generally not as unpredictable or volatile as a Non-Reflective person. Matte individuals may be perceived as rebels by others and they are generally portrayed as such in media. Matte individuals don't mind being called Matte, just like the Transparent Archetype, this may serve as a compliment to them.

THE BRANCH-ARCHETYPES

The branch archetypes are extreme forms of the two opposing archetypes. As a result, the two branch archetypes arkje the rarest amongst all the archetypes.

The Translucent Branch-Archetype

The Translucent archetype is a branch of the Transparent archetype, this is the second rarest archetype. A fully translucent object is one that just like the Transparent archetype it lets light pass through, but unlike the Matte-Translucent archetype a fully translucent object does not have any impurities, instead, a fully translucent object is able to highlight one specific aspect of itself over the others, while still being transparent. Think of gems such as Sapphires, Emeralds, and Rubies, these are translucent objects that although being transparent, are still able to highlight certain aspects of themselves such as their bright intense colors. Likewise, a translucent person while still being transparent, they are able to highlight a certain personality trait of theirs to a greater degree than the others. These individuals are often deemed as extravagant by others, and they behave in exotic ways. As a result, these individuals more often than not always engage in the world of the arts and become very well known for being different and very particular. Many known artist of the past and even the present fall under this category. People within this archetype are very picturesque and are known for it.

A fully translucent individual is defined by that particular personality trait that they are able to highlight over the others, and for that reason they tend to stand out a lot from the rest. They are seem as extremely rare and unique individuals. They still have all the qualities that a Transparent individual may have, but they overshadow those qualities with that specific personality trait.

Fully Translucent villains are also kind of rare even in the media, this particular archetype makes for the extravagant and exotic type of villains. These type of villains often have a vision of the world or of someone in particular, and would pursuit to make that vision a reality by doing villainous things. They are portrayed as extremely passionate individuals that would do anything to have their vision be fulfilled.

A Translucent individual doesn't mind being referred to as a Translucent individual, they already know that they are very unique and particular and hence they often have a neutral reaction when being labelled as a Translucent individual.

The Projective Branch-Archetype

The Projective Branch-Archetype is perhaps the most interesting and rarest of all the previously mentioned archetypes. This is because very few people in the world will ever fall under this archetype, and even if they do, they may not remain in it permanently. The Projective Branch-Archetype is a branch of the Reflective archetype. In the universe and even in our world, some objects become a source of light. Objects like stars and lightbulbs are objects that emit light from within. Likewise, those who fall under the Projective archetype are those who are a literal source of light to others, they cast no shadow and therefore do not display any evil or undesirable trait. People under this archetype have a very strong presence and their mere presence can mark a before and an after to others. Projective may even become leaders and hold much fame but there is an inherent problem attached with this specific archetype.

You see, even in the universe, those celestial objects that are able to project light from within and even in our world, do so because of a specific energy source that these objects have access to, as long as these objects have access to this energy, they will always project light. But like everything else in this world, that energy source is not infinite. Eventually in the case of a very bright star, this star will become a supernova which will result in it turning into a black hole or something lesser than what it was at one point. Likewise, a Projector will shine very bright for a determined period of time but their light will eventually run out. A Projector might be someone that possess a lot of charisma or intense beauty, and may be someone who is extremely talented or intelligent, and for a period of time which may even be years or decades, these individuals will shine brighter than most. But eventually and inevitably, their light will eventually run out and they might end up either completely embracing the dark or will simply reflect light like everyone else.

The Projective archetype is the rarest because only a select few individuals in the world will ever fall into it, and even if they do, they will not be in it permanently, which makes it the rarest of them all. Those who do fall into this archetype though, may end up being idolized by the rest, and are often regarded as super stars, which is why the Projective archetype aside from being the rarest, it's also the most dangerous, because it's often the most self destructive type of them all. The decline these individuals will eventually experience is as impressive as if not more than their rise.

Projectors are seem as people who are most similar to a perfect individual. They are portrayed as having no flaws or undesirable character traits, and in the case they do showcase a flaw, everyone will pretty much either not notice it or outright ignore it. Projectors are people define by their image and by how they are portrayed. They are considered the most desirable and pinnacle of what the human race can be.

Because they live in complete denial of their inner darkness as well as with the strong pressures exerted by the expectations of others, these individual may eventually give out when their light finally does fades and will become the complete opposite of what they were in the past.

Projectors are very charismatic, talented, and extremely gifted and self centered individuals. They may also be very proud and haughty at times. Projectors make the "perfect" kind of villains. These villains are always portrayed as being perfect beings weather physically or mentally. They always outsmart and overpower the main characters and are so given into their own self image that in the end they end up revealing their flaws which inevitably leads to their defeat or demise.

Projectors may take being referred to as Projectors as a compliment but when told that their light will one day give out they may also take that as a warning and a reminder of what awaits them. In the case they are so mentally given to their self image, they might outright ignore that their light will one day give out and may deem it as impossible.

These are all the Archetypes proposed in this theorem, now lets begin by describing how each of the main archetypes interact with each other.
